To Serve
3rd Saturday of the month Free Community Feeds: Faith, Food, & Fellowship on The Lawn. This is our favorite event! The name says it all! A diverse group of people gather together on the lawn of L&K to show the Love and Kindness of Jesus. We offer a 3-4 course homemade meal, while listening to awesome praise and worship, & engaging in Kingdom conversation & prayer. We definitely love on God’s people.
Abel Ministries Community Celebration is an amazing weekly Kingdom event led by Abel Ministries. Each Monday evening through the leadership of Abel, a different ministry hosts a night of live anointed praise & worship, powerful testimonies, free food, kingdom teachings, prayer, and loving fellowship. This event takes place each Monday evening from 6:30p until 8:30p on the lawn of L&K. You will be blessed!
Resurrection Celebration: Our Redeemer Lives! is our yearly celebration in honor of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This event takes place on the Saturday before Easter. We celebrate our Lord with Praise, Worship, Music, Food, Fellowship, and our testimony proof that our Redeemer Lives!
Thanksgiving Dinner @ The Grace House: Each year in excitement, the L&K Kingdomteers prepare a homemade Thanksgiving Feast for the residents of The Grace House. We decorate their Dining Facility, and set up buffet style and serve each resident until they are full and satisfied as we fellowship together.
L&K Childrens CHRISTmas Party: Each year we select 25-30 kids and provide gifts and a Christmas party.
“Love is What it Does” Fundraiser Gala: Annual formal fundraiser and awards ceremony.
VRM Mother’s Day Banquet: In honor of our sisters of the VRM Women’s Shelter & Treatment Facility we pull out the red carpet! We go in and transform their Dining Facility into a beautiful Banquet Hall. A 5-star homemade meal is prepared on site, and served Buffet style. An encouraging speaker is brought in, and gifts are given to each sister. We love it!
VRM Father's Day Banquet: In honor of our brothers at the VRM Recovery Center we do the same for them as we do for our sisters. We go in and transform their Dining Facility into a beautiful Banquet Hall. A 5-star homemade meal is prepared on site, and served Buffet style. An encouraging speaker is brought in, and gifts are given to each brother. We love it!
Become a Kingdomteer
Become a Love & Kindness Kingdomteer: Love and Kindness CRC, is made up of a rainbow of Kingdom assigned people of God who give of their time to help us operate smoothly. We were once referring to ourselves as volunteers, until The Holy Spirit let us know that we were to be called “Kingdomteers” Each person brings with them a Kingdom operated gift, that is essential, welcomed, and made room for so that we may truly operate in the Kingdom capacity in which the assignment calls for. In understanding the assignment, we work from a loving & kind Kingdom place in our Hearts, carefully helping each person the Lord sends.
